Video Contest Open January 6th to February 14th

Words of Advice

  1. You're welcome to work on a video alone but we encourage you to work in a group. Reach out to other students, especially in different faculties. It usually results in a higher quality video with better content.
  2. NO COPYRIGHTED MUSIC OR IMAGES. It may be tempting to use your favorite Jay-Z or Aerosmith record, or scan a great photo from a Toronto tourism book, but it will disqualify your video automatically.
  3. Respect the Student Codes of Academic and Non-Academic Conduct, Discrimination and Harassment Prevention Policy. DO NOT make a video that is hateful, ignorant, etc or you will face disciplinary action. It's common sense.
  4. Try to make sure that your audio (people speaking, music, etc) is as clear as you can make it. Videos with bad or low audio tend not to do very well.
  5. Join our emailing list and/or Facebook page to receive updates and necessary tips.
  6. Get started! Have fun!
